![]() You basicly play 10 extra card just to hsve more fuel en consitency for some reasons lol Also just adds a Metalfoes Body on the field for 1000lp.ģx Dark Ruler No More main deck, you want to control the board with peace of mind.ģx Rescue Rabbit of course, it can be pendulum summon ot normal summon lol. Metalfoes is better going 2nd, Ready Fusion makes the summoning of Azortless/Vanisher Turn 1 easier. More search and extenders with Summoner's Art. Luster is a good searcher and also triggers Astrograph or Chronograph.ġx Qliport Scoot/Monolith with Cyber Dragon Infinity. You want the most of those pendulum summon, and odds are slimmer to do so of you have more non-pendulum monster in the deck.ģx Luster Pendulum with a Ignister Prorminence.* Since the deck mostly consist of removal grind, it fits well into the actual format (f*** Mine.) I don't play Bao and Ghostrick, i have a policy that pendulum decks needs the less possible non-pendulm monsters in the deck because it makes it easier for them to brick. It is searchable with Beyond The Pendulum but it's usually juste a hard draw removal. There are certainly people who have more informed gripes about the mechanic, but my description is but a generalization of the kind of people who dislike the mechanic.Įccentrick is just a pawn, it serves as a out to Mystic Mine and a monster removal. This dissuades people from picking up pendulum decks in general.Īll this culminates in segments of Yugioh players who dislike the entire mechanic, don't want to learn more about it, and don't get to face pendulum decks frequently enough to have their notions challenged. Pendulum took a backseat to Links and never really was given the tools to thrive again in the TCG with the Electrumite ban. The pendulum mechanic itself can seem confusing if you don't know their rules. Pendulum cards have a high amount of text, which makes them intimidating to assess during a duel. This makes pendulums ripe for casual player hate. Casual players often imagine ideal scenarios as the average scenario and don't understand card advantage, so they fail to see the weaknesses of the mechanic that have prevented pendulums decks from consistently being meta in power level. They conceptualize it as essentially pendulum summoning 5 every turn and/or ending on infinite negates. However, segments of the casual community have for a long time inaccurately assessed pendulums as particularly overpowered. The highest competitive level pendulum builds have basically ended on whatever the best generic extra deck monsters are, leaving endboards that you might find in other combo decks. There's nothing pendulums do fundamentally differently than other decks, just instead of the graveyard being the second hand it's face-up extra deck.
